Summer is just around the corner, the wildflowers are blooming, and now is a great time to get out and enjoy the trails. Here are some of our favorite hikes in Jackson Hole that offer stunning natural beauty.

Summer is just around the corner, the wildflowers are blooming, and now is a great time to get out and enjoy the trails. Here are some of our favorite hikes in Jackson Hole that offer stunning natural beauty.


SNOW KING RESORT
Take a hike to the summit of Snow King resort, where you see spectacular views of Jackson Hole, Grand Teton National Park, The Elk Refuge, and more. This hike is a 3.8 mile out and back trail. It is considered a challenging route and on average of 2 hour 43 minutes to complete. It is a popular trail for birding, hiking, and running. Dogs are welcome, but must be on a leash.

Jackson Hole Mountain Resort

There are some great hikes that leave from the base of Jackson Hole Mountain Resort. Start your hike at the base of Teton Village or take a scenic Ride up the gondola. You enjoy stunning panoramic views of the valley and surrounding mountain ranges.  

  • Top Of The World: This hike is great for anyone who wants to explore the mountains with limited time. 

  • Cirque Trail: This scenic trail is an out-and-back from the summit of Rendezvous Mountain. 

  • Rock Springs Loop: Enjoy a moderate hike that follows Cody Bowl and the Rock Springs Overlook Trail. 

  • Cody Bowl: Looking for snow in the mid-months of summer? This trail descends 800 feet into a boulder-filled bowl at the bottom of Cody Peak. 

  • Green River Overlook: If you are looking for stunning views of the valley, then check out this moderate hike. 

  • Lower Faces Loop: This trail is great for running and is an easy lower elevation hike. 

  • Wildflower Trail: Soak in the natural beauty of the wildflowers on this moderate hie at the top of Bridger Bowl. 

  • Hoback Trail: This multiuse trail will take you to the southernmost boundary of the ski area. 

  • Casper Ridge Loop: Looking for a great sunset hike? The Casper Ridge Loop offers incredible views of the valley and mountain ranges. 

  • Holey Moley: If you are up for a challenge then this steep and strenuous hike will deliver. The views are worth it!

Grand Teton National Park

  • Cascade Canyon: This popular hike offers breathtaking views of the Teton Range and takes you through picturesque canyons and along the shores of Jenny Lake.

  • Taggart and Bradley Lakes: A moderate hike that takes you to two beautiful alpine lakes, offering stunning views of the Tetons.

  • Paintbrush Canyon to Lake Solitude: This challenging hike rewards you with magnificent mountain vistas, alpine meadows, and a pristine mountain lake.

  • Teton Crest Trail: This iconic trail stretches for around 40 miles through the Teton Range. It offers unparalleled panoramic views, alpine meadows, and an opportunity to spot wildlife. It’s usually done as a multi-day backpacking trip.

  • Phelps Lake Loop: Located in Grand Teton National Park, this moderate loop trail takes you around Phelps Lake, offering beautiful views of the surrounding mountains and a chance to swim in the lake.

  • Granite Canyon: Starting from the Jackson Hole Mountain Resort, this strenuous hike takes you through stunning alpine scenery, including meadows, forests, and rugged granite canyons.

  • Death Canyon: This challenging hike starts in Grand Teton National Park and takes you through Death Canyon, offering stunning views, wildflowers, and a chance to spot wildlife. You can extend the hike to reach Alaska Basin for even more adventure.

  • Jenny Lake Loop: A popular and relatively easy hike in Grand Teton National Park, the loop trail takes you around the picturesque Jenny Lake, with stunning views of the Tetons along the way.
